TWELFTH GATE Hard At Work On New CD

May 5, 2004

Chicago-based power metallers TWELFTH GATE have issued the following update regarding their current activities:

"We currently have just over half of the new album written & a few more songs on the brink of completion. Now with the summer quickly approaching, we're trying to remain focused so we can meet our goal of going into the studio by the end of the summer. We've already debuted a couple of the new songs at a few of our last shows & have had a great response.

"Of course this may sound like a cliche, but so far, the album is definitely sounding heavier & slightly darker than our last album [2003's] 'Summoning' [Crash Music Inc.]. Honestly, even though it may sound like a cliche these days ('heavier & darker'),but given what's currently going on in the world around us, it's getting real hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel...it's becoming almost natural to be more influenced by the darker side of emotion, and it's beginning to show through our music. But then again, you'll have to make up your own mind once the album comes out..."
