TUNGSTEN: New Album Update

July 14, 2004

TUNGSTEN vocalist/guitarist Al Hodge has posted the following message on the band's web site:

"Over the weekend Steve Talamo came to H/T Studios in Chalmette, Louisiana and laid some lead guitar parts over one of the new TUNGSTEN songs from their upcoming as of yet untitled album. Just watching and hearing what he was doing was putting a huge smile on my face as well as Mark Talamo's too. The songs are coming along and we are getting there. Most of tracks are done, so Steve came in and really killed on the guitar over the weekend. It's like we had this secret weapon to make the songs even better than they were before. Steve's playing is really going to accent these songs and help bring them to the next level. I can't wait until everybody hears what's happening with our new stuff. Mark did a really killer job coming up with the tunes for this album. I've let some friends hear some of the stuff and they like what they heard. I think the friends and fans of the band will not be disappointed in this next TUNGSTEN record. It will show how much we've grown as a band over the years and how much better our song writing skills have become."
