TRIVIUM's new album, "The Crusade", was officially certified silver on Monday, October 9 (day of release) in the U.K. for sales in excess of 60,000 copies, according to the band's record label, Roadrunner Records.

According to Hits Daily Double, "The Crusade" is poised to sell between 30,000 and 35,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to land in the Top 50 of The Billboard 200 chart. The final first-week numbers will be released on Wednesday, October 18.

The follow-up to 2005's "Ascendancy", "The Crusade"was recorded at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, FL, just outside of Orlando. As previously reported, TRIVIUM's video for the song "Anthem (We Are The Fire)" has been posted online at this location. The clip was shot on August 11 in Agoura Hills, California and features the band and its loyal fans crashing and taking over "a lame house party...bringing their huge metal show (complete with pyro, flaming swimming pool, and fire cannons) and showing the world how they ROCK."
