TRIVIUM guitarists Corey Beaulieu and Matt Heafy paid tribute to late PANTERA/DAMAGEPLAN guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott by playing a cover of PANTERA's "Domination" during their December 8, 2005 set in Washington. D.C. For the occasion, Dimebag's longtime girlfriend Rita loaned TRIVIUM two of Dimebag's guitars that he played on the last PANTERA tour. "I played the rebel/confederate Washburn and Matt played the diamond-plated 'Reinventing the Steel' written up the fretboard Washburn," stated Corey. "Those guitars play so fucking sweet and we are beyond words and overwhelmed that we had the honor to use them." Check out a picture of Corey and Matt with the guitars at this location.
