March 6, 2011

TORNADO (formerly NEMESIS DIVINA),the American, Dutch and Finnish metal band featuring members of AMORAL and FUELBLOODED, is preparing to enter Abyss Studio in Pärlby, Sweden under the watchful eye of Swedish producer and HYPOCRISY/PAIN mainman Peter Tägtgren to record its debut album, "Amsterdamn, Hellsinki", for release via the French label Listenable Records. The group will spend two weeks in the studio recording the following 13 tracks of "fist-pumpin', booty-shakin, sleazy thrash for a new generation of pimps and hos":

* A Bold Statement
* Hate Worldwide
* 3 Of 8
* Massive Extinction Impact
* Blue
* Ignorance Is Thy Name
* Eugenics
* Priesthood Pedophilia
* Noora
* Diva
* Tunisia Uprising
* Rise Disciples, Rise
* No Mercy (L.A. GUNS cover)

Commented singer Superstar Joey Severance: "We are all very excited to be going over to Peter's spot and doing this album. For me personally, this is a dream come true and as a metal fan. I'm excited to be walking in the footsteps of my musical heroes. We've been talking the talk for a long time, now it's time to walk the walk so to speak..."

While deeply rooted in '80s thrash, TORNADO is "not part of any thrash revivals or movements," according to a press release. "With an emphasis on writing songs that are to the point and catchy, TORNADO brings back the essence of what thrash is all about (with an added sleazy edge)."

TORNADO is:

Superstar Joey Severance - Vocals
Michiel Rutten (FUELBLOODED) - Guitar
Ben Varon (AMORAL) - Guitar
Pekka Johansson (AMORAL) - Bass
Juhana "Starvin Marvin" Karlsson (AMORAL, CRYSTAL BLAZE) - Drums
