TONY IOMMI: 'Fused' Audio Preview Available For Download

April 30, 2005

An MP3 file containing a 35-minute ARfm broadcast featuring selections from the forthcoming Tony Iommi solo album, "Fused", has been posted online at GlennHughesItalia.com (NOTE: File also contains other songs from the broadcast that are not part of the "Fused" album).

Joining the BLACK SABBATH guitarist on "Fused" is former DEEP PURPLE vocalist/bass guitarist Glenn Hughes and former JOHN MELLENCAMP drummer Kenny Aronoff, who has also played sessions with the likes of THE ROLLING STONES, BOB DYLAN, ROD STEWART, ALICE COOPER, BOB SEGER, LYNYRD SKYNYRD and countless others.

"Fused" track listing:

01. Dopamine
02. Wasted Again
03. Saviour Of The Real
04. Resolution Song
05. Grace
06. Deep Inside A Shell
07. What You’re Living For
08. Face Your Fear
09. The Spell
10. I Go Insane

Regarding the track "I Go Insane", which clocks in at over nine minutes, Iommi recently told Billboard.com, "I wanted to do a long track basically with a lot of different changes. And if I had had my way, they probably all would have been as long as that. I think it was good to do something finally with a bit of an extended version. I also wanted to play the album live. So, we all went into the studio together and played, which was great to do that way."

Iommi's third solo album, "Fused" is scheduled for release on July 12 via Sanctuary Records. A tour to promote "Fused" will take place later this year after BLACK SABBATH finishes headlining the 10th anniversary Ozzfest tour.
