TONY HARNELL: More Footage Of Acoustic New York City Concert

July 28, 2011

Vocalist Tony Harnell (TNT, WESTWORLD, STARBREAKER) performed acoustic versions of classic TNT songs and "other goodies" on Saturday, July 23 in front of a sold-out crowd at the Rockwood Music Hall (Stage 2) in New York City. Video footage of the concert can be seen below.

Prior to the show, Harnell stated about his appearance, "I should call this show 'songbook' but I don't want to copy Chris Cornell TOO much. But I am digging deeper into the vaults for this show. Probably the last time to hear some of these songs. Some haven't been played live in years, if ever, and possibly the last live performance for awhile while I work on music and other things. [The show will also feature] Jason Hagen, Brandon Wilde, Amy Harnell and some special guests!"

Regarding the setlist for the concert, Harnell said earlier in the month, "Seriously, turning old TNT, outside of the ballads, into acoustic songs is no easy feat. So we've chosen carefully and I think it's a great set. It's not exclusively OLD stuff, but it's the most I've dug into the classics for many years and a few awesome covers, I think people will be very pleased with the show. I'm excited about it."
