Tonight's Nashville Stop Of Relapse Contamination Tour To Be Webcast

Tonight's (Thursday, April 30) Nashville stop (at The Muse) on the Relapse Contamination Tour will be broadcast live at www.themusenashville.com. The broadcast starts at 7 p.m. EST and will include sets by OBSCURA, GRAVES OF VALOR, and ABYSMAL DAWN.

The "Contamination Tour" has been Relapse Records' vehicle used to expose some of the label's newest and most exciting bands. Previous "Contamination" tours have included appearances by such acts as MASTODON, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, NEUROSIS, NILE, HIGH ON FIRE, CEPHALIC CARNAGE, COALESCE, ORIGIN, MISERY INDEX, DYSRHYTHMIA and UNEARTHLY TRANCE.

Germany's OBSCURA have announced an European tour with CANNIBAL COPRSE. This fall tour will kick-off on October 2 and also include OBSCURA labelmates DYING FETUS as well as EVOCATION.

South Carolina's GRAVES OF VALOR has posted another new track, "Pestilence", on the band's MySpace page. The song comes off the group's forthcoming album, "Salarian Gate", which is scheduled for for a CD and LP release on May 26 in North America (June 1 internationally) via Relapse Records. The effort was recorded in January at Mana Recording Studios (HATE ETERNAL, SOILENT GREEN, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD) with engineer Brian Elliott.

Los Angeles, California's ABYSMAL DAWN has announced more dates leading up to and concluding the "Conquer & Curse Tour 2009" dates. ABYSMAL DAWN will join SUCCESS WILL WRITE APOCALYPSE ACROSS THE SKY (S.W.W.A.A.T.S.) and ABIGAIL WILLIAMS in mid-June for a run of dates in the eastern U.S. to meet up with GOATWHORE and DAATH for the "Conquer & Curse" tour followed by a string of dates home to Los Angeles, California.
