TOMMY LEE: 'Peace N Big Ass Beats'

The New York Post has posted a correction to an earlier news item that stated former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee would be playing hip-hop or '80s music during his DJ/drumming show at Tavern Saturday (June 26). Leee-mailed the newspaper to explain what's really in store for Southampton (Long Island, NY) clubbers.

Setting the record straight, Lee wrote, "I play hardhouse and drum during the show. Thank you!!! Peace n Big Ass Beats!!"

After the show, Lee will head to the Remy Martin House in Southampton, where the reformed partier will be presented with a $1,300 bottle of Louis XIII cognac.

Said Tavern and Remy Martin spokesman Ron Berkowitz, "Even if he doesn't drink, it's a great gift."
