TOMMY LEE Lands Book Publishing Deal

March 31, 2003

Former MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee has landed a deal for his autobiography with Atria Books, the hardcover imprint of Simon & Schuster. The book, which — contrary to previous reports — will NOT carry the title "Ragz to Riches", will contain many details not included in the CRÜE's best-selling band autobiography, "The Dirt: Confessions of the World's Most Notorious Rock Band". " 'The Dirt' was only a look into four guys' lives," Lee said in a recent web posting. "This is a microscope into only mine. This will be a mindblower! People really don't know all!"
