TOM MORELLO Hosting SIRIUS XM RADIO's 'Axis Of Justice'

May 21, 2009

Sirius XM Radio has announced that Tom Morello, the Grammy Award-winning guitarist from RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, AUDIOSLAVE, and now, STREET SWEEPER SOCIAL CLUB, will host "Axis of Justice", a show that will air three Sundays a month on Sirius XM's Faction channel.

"Axis of Justice" launched on Sunday, May 17 at 9:00 p.m. ET exclusively on Sirius XM's Faction channel, Sirius channel 28 and XM channel 52.

Axis of Justice, the non-profit organization formed by Tom Morello and Serj Tankian from SYSTEM OF A DOWN, was created to bring together musicians, fans of music and grassroots political organizations for social justice. The radio show "Axis of Justice" will reflect that agenda while also featuring rebel music by artists including THE CLASH, PUBLIC ENEMY and BOB MARLEY. During the show, Morello and his occasional guest co-host Tankian will discuss the meaning of the songs they play by these artists and talk about how they relate to social and political events today. Morello will also welcome special guests from the music world and political worlds and other celebrities.

"Axis of Justice Radio is on the air," said Tom Morello. "We will spin rebel jams and we will reveal dangerous truths. If you're not listening we are not responsible for the consequences."
