TIM 'RIPPER' OWENS Interviewed On 'Rockin' Metal Revival'; Audio Available

Powerhouse American heavy metal vocalist Tim "Ripper" Owens (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, BEYOND FEAR, ex-JUDAS PRIEST, ICED EARTH) is featured in the latest episode of the "Rockin' Metal Revival" show.

The program is now available for download in three parts at this location.

"Play My Game", the first solo album from Tim "Ripper" Owens, sold around 800 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. (Note: Internet/digital sales **ARE** included in the SoundScan totals.) The CD landed at position No. 66 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Play My Game" was released via SPV/Steamhammer. The offering consists of around a dozen brand-new tracks that Owens composed himself or together with renowned friends, such as Bob Kulick, Chris Caffery (SAVATAGE, TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA), Mike Callahan (ex-EARSHOT) and John Comprix (BEYOND FEAR, RINGWORM).

Tim "Ripper" Owens has revealed the backing band that will accompany him for his upcoming summer tour in support of "Play My Game". The group will consist of the following musicians:
