TIGERTAILZ: 'Shoe Collector' Video Due In September

August 19, 2013

U.K. glam metal legends TIGERTAILZ will release their new EP, "Knives", the second week of October via Scarlet Records. The CD was recorded at Red Rock Studios in South Wales.

Comments guitarist Jay Pepper: "We're all absolutely delighted [with how the EP turned out]… And you know what, this new material really does sound fuckin' awesome! We're all blown away by how good this record has turned out. It's proper old-school 'TAILZ — big riffs, big hooks and even bigger choruses! So if you liked [1987's] 'Young And Crazy' and [1990's] 'Bezerk', you'll totally love this new record. Many thanks to everyone who's helped pull it together. It totally ROCKS!"

"Knives" track listing:

01. Shoe Collector
02. One Life
03. Don't Bite The Hand That Feeds You
04. Spit It Out
05. Punched In The Gutz

A video for the song "Shoe Collector" will be released in September.

"Knives" is the first new music from TIGERTAILZ in almost six years, a new dawn that sees the band step it up on every level.

Drummer Matt Blakout recently rejoined the 'TAILZ lineup after a three-year absence and teamed up with Jules Millis (vocals),Rob Wylde (bass) and Jay Pepper (guitar).

Commented Pepper: "I'm absolutely delighted to see Matt back in TIGERTAILZ. Not only is he a great solid drummer and true professional, but a lovely guy too... Matt also brings stability to the 'TAILZ lineup which, after three years of grief, is more than welcome. It's really great to have him back and be working together again."
