TIGERTAILZ And ZAN CLAN Among Bands featured On 'Hollywood Hairspray IV' CD

Perris Records has set a June 21 release date for "Hollywood Hairspray IV", a collection of new and unreleased tracks from of today's hard rock scene.

"Hollywood Hairspray IV" features Sweden's own glam master Zinny Zan, former vocalist of SHOTGUN MESSIAH and now the ringmaster of ZAN CLAN. TIGERTAILZ features Kim Hooker (vocals),Jay Pepper (guitar) and Pepsi Tate (bass) from the "Bezerk" and "Banzai" lineup. MIDNIGHT CIRCUS hails from Texas but carries on the Hollywood '80s glam rock tradition. UNITED ENEMIES features NASTY IDOLS vocalist Andy Pierce from Sweden. Phoenix, Arizona's THE NEW ROMANTICS are in the vein of DOGS D'AMOUR and L.A. GUNS. Sweden's ON PAROLE takes the barroom sleaze glam to the next level with a CIRCUS OF POWER and FOUR HORSEMEN style. Sweden's COSMIC BALLROOM is in the vein of BACKYARD BABIES and THE HELLACOPTERS. Sweden's VAINS OF JENNA brings true Sunset Strip rock to the table in the vein of early L.A. GUNS. Norway's TRASHCAN DARLINGS is in the vein of HANOI ROCKS. Sweden's ENEMIES SWE is a modern mix of "Back in Black" with a spice of "Appetite for Destruction" style. England's TEENAGE CASKET COMPANY is a sleazy MÖTLEY CRÜE/POISON-esque flavor. Sweden's SLOWPANIC SWEETHEARTS are a gutsy rock in the vein of Hollywood Strip glam rock. Italy's BABY RUTH is in the vein of Hollywood glam FASTER PUSSYCAT and MÖTLEY CRÜE style. Italy's CATHOUSE is in the vein of sleaze rock FASTER PUSSYCAT style.
