THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE Signs With LIFEFORCE RECORDS

March 21, 2008

Lifeforce Records has announced the signing of Lancaster, Pennsylvania's THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE.

THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE encompasses a sound that melds the fine Pennsylvania traditions that have brought us the likes of AUGUST BURNS RED, A LIFE ONCE LOST and THIS DAY FORWARD while taking their musical direction to a new and uncharted height. Exhibiting a veteran-like display of confidence and focus, THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE's accelerated evolution redefines how bands come into their own. THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE tightrope walks between masterfully crafted time signatures, dense rock grooves and melodic atmosphere. Their music combines the precision and technical prowess of MESHUGGAH with the raw, emotive urgency of SHAI HULUD and MISERY SIGNALS: A sound that is loud, compelling, and unique.

Consisting of Rick Armellino (vocals),Jack Esbenshade (guitars),Rodney Phillips (guitars),Grant McFarland (drums) and Sean Hennessey (bass),THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE is now poised to unleash their Lifeforce debut and most accomplished and refined work to date, "Monuments", out September 16.

THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE will be heading out on tour during the months of May and June with Facedown artists FOR TODAY and KINGSTON FALLS.

Rick Armellino of THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE commented on the signing: "We truly see eye to eye with Drew and the guys at Lifeforce Records and we're really honored to be the new kids in the Lifeforce family."

Drew Juergens of Lifeforce Records America stated: "I am very stoked to be working with THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE! Combining the large amount of DIY touring and promotional work they have been cultivating on a grass-roots level, TOTA have proven to be extremely focused, exceptional musicians and great people all around. I am very excited to see what we can accomplish together!"
