THIS ENDING: Another New Song Posted Online

Another THIS ENDING track, entitled "Pitch Black", has been posted online at the group's MySpace page. The song comes off the Stockholm, Sweden-based band's debut album, "Inside the Machine", which was released in Europe on December 4 via Metal Blade Records (December 1 in Germany). The CD — which will be released in North America on January 23, 2007 — was recorded at Offbeat studio in Stockholm with producer Linus Nirbrant. Mastering was done by Peter in de Betou at Tailor Maid.

According to a press release, "The music of THIS ENDING embodies the qualities of technical death/thrash and the catchiness of melodic death metal! A combination that is refreshing to the genre yet still brutal and dark enough to scare your parents. Ushering in a new era of Swedish death metal, THIS ENDING is brutality and darkness, yet melodic and catchy. 'Inside the Machine' features 10 tracks of non stop violence with astonishing musicianship and a new approach to songwriting that leaves you wanting more."

Formed in 2005, THIS ENDING existed in a previous incarnation as A CANOROUS QUINTET. After several years of absence from the metal scene the guys decided that the time was right for a new era. Members of the band are/have been active in the following acts: AMON AMARTH, GUIDANCE OF SIN, NIDEN DIV. 187 and SINS OF OMISSION, among others.

Mårten Hansen - Vocals
Leo Pignon - Guitar
Linus Nirbrant - Guitar
Jesper Löfgren - Bass
Fredrik Andersson - Drums
