According to FMQB, the first single from THEM CROOKED VULTURES — which consists of FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl on drums, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE singer/guitarist Josh Homme and LED ZEPPELIN bass player John Paul Jones — is called "New Fang" and it will arrive at radio stations on Monday, October 26. The band's self-titled debut album will be in stores on November 17 via Interscope Records.

THEM CROOKED VULTURES officially kicked off its first North American tour on October 5 in Nashville. The group has been the subject of furious international buzz since making its official live debut on August 9 in Chicago.

FOO FIGHTERS drummer Taylor Hawkins told The Pulse of Radio he's heard the VULTURES' record and likes it. "It's really great," he said. "I'm really proud of Dave, and I think he's having a real blast not having to shake his booty at the front of the stage for a while, you know?"

THEM CROOKED VULTURES taped a performance for the Austin City Limits TV program on September 30.

Several short clips of both live and studio performances by the trio have already surfaced on YouTube.
