'The Wit and Wisdom Of Ozzy Osbourne' Book Due In November

September 19, 2010

Due in November via Krause Publications, a division of F+W Media, Inc., "The Wit and Wisdom Of Ozzy Osbourne" by Dave Thompson is an entertaining look at Ozzy's life, from his beginnings as the "Godfather of Heavy Metal" when he was with BLACK SABBATH, to the pop-culture icon he now is.

This paperback looks at Ozzy's philosophy of life and reflects the spirit of the man who made BLACK SABBATH famous. This is Ozzy in all his raw and unfiltered glory; four decades worth of his best quotes, risqué retorts, oddest observations, and yes, even articulate ponderings.

Ozzy is the Prince of Darkness, a man whose music has soundtracked so many demonic fantasies that, if it's true what they say about the Devil having all the best songs, then Ozzy's been stuffing his jukebox for forty years. To whose who discovered Ozzy through "The Osbournes" reality show, though, he's a family man at heart, one who may act fired up when the cameras are on, but who is truly a family man who likes to settle down and watch TV and relax. Thompson will deliver shocking confessions, then turn around and confess that's shocked. There will be moments of tenderness, and introspection, too.

"I don't know who Ozzy is. I wake up a new person every day." - Ozzy Osbourne
