THE WILDHEARTS Joined By Ex-AMEN/BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION Bassist

November 3, 2006

U.K.'s THE WILDHEARTS have announced the addition of bassist Scott Sorry (BRIDES OF DESTRUCTION, AMEN) to the group's ranks. The band's current lineup — Sorry, Ginger (guitar/vocals),C.J. (Chris Jaghdar; guitar/vocals) and Ritch Battersby (drums) — will make its live debut at a special one-off Christmas show at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall on December 21. Ginger says: "The show will be filmed for a future DVD and promo video so come and get yer beautiful faces in on the action."

As previously reported, THE WILDHEARTS frontman Ginger's first single from his "Valor Del Corazon" solo album, "Yeah Yeah Yeah", is due for release on November 20 as a split single with fellow Round Records artist HOWLING WILLIE. "Yeah Yeah Yeah" will be available on two-track CD and strictly limited-edition white vinyl 7". The double A-sided single also features "Caffeine Bomb", as recorded by HOWLING WILLIE and produced by Ginger. Additionally, "Valor Del Corazon" is now available from iTunes, and from CD Baby. An exclusive new song, "Black Windows", from Ginger's forthcoming album "Yoni" is now on MySpace. Says Ginger: "It's unmastered right now, but I couldn't wait for everyone to hear new drummer Denzel tearing the living shit out of his drum kit. Check this guy out, he's sick. Please let the world know, and tell them all to tell someone else!"

Ginger is currently in the studio, adding the finishing touches to "Yoni", due for release on Round Records in January 2007.
