'The Voices Of Women In Metal' Documentary To Premiere In Eindhoven

The premiere of the documentary film "Soaring Highs And Brutal Lows: The Voices Of Women In Metal" will take place on October 15 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands at the Zien Bioscoop. The screening will be followed by an acoustic set by STREAM OF PASSION, with special guest Anneke Van Giersbergen (ex-THE GATHERING).

Produced and directed by Mark Harwood, "Soaring Highs And Brutal Lows: The Voices Of Women In Metal" explores the experiences of female metal vocalists and combines interview, concert and archival footage to delve into the journeys of some of the most well-known singers and how they got where they are today. Featured interviewees include Floor Jansen (NIGHTWISH, REVAMP),Alissa White-Gluz (ARCH ENEMY),Simone Simons (EPICA),Charlotte Wessels (DELAIN),Doro Pesch (DORO, WARLOCK),Marcela Bovio (STREAM OF PASSION) and Anneke Van Giersbergen, among others.

A home video release (DVD, Blu-ray, VOD) is scheduled for the end of the year and additional screenings worldwide are being planned.
