THE QUILL: Warm-Up Date Announced

Sweden's THE QUILL, the band featuring current SPIRITUAL BEGGARS/ex-FIREBIRD bassist Roger Nilsson and ex-FIREBIRD drummer Jolle Atlagic, will play a warm-up show for their upcoming European tour at Blomstermåla Folkets Hus on January 31. The show starts around 8:00 p.m. and you have to be 15 years old to attend. For more information, visit www.sydostnoje.nu.

THE QUILL have also been added to the Paaspop Festival in Schijndel, Holland. The band will perform on April 10. For information/tickets, go to www.paaspop.nl.

THE QUILL will be supporting MONSTER MAGNET on their European tour, which is scheduled to kick off in late February and run through mid-April. Also appearing on the bill will be Norwegian rock 'n' rollers GLUECIFER.

THE QUILL's fourth album, titled "Hooray! It's a Deathtrip", was released in September through SPV Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Voodoo Caravan" was produced by Rickard Bengtsson (SPIRITUAL BEGGARS) and mixed by Daniel Bergstrand (IN FLAMES, MESHUGGAH).
