Swedish progressive goth/death metallers THE PROVENANCE have inked a deal with Peaceville Records. The group are currently working on the follow-up to their third full-length effort, "How Would You Like To Be Spat At" (2005, Scarlet Records),tentatively due later in the year. A video for the "How Would You Like To Be Spat At" album track "Catching Scarlet in the Sun" is still available for viewing at the band's official web site, TheProvenance.com.

The 53-minute follow-up to 2003's "Still At Arms Length", "How Would You Like To Be Spat At" was recorded over a two-month period at Gesperrt Studios and is said to contain ten "brutally honest and rigid songs."
