THE MEADS OF ASPHODEL To Release 'Life Is Sh*t' EP

British black metallers THE MEADS OF ASPHODEL will release a limited seven-inch EP, titled "Life is Shit", in late August. It will include the following three old punk covers:

01. STIFF LITTLE FINGERS - "Straw Dogs" (feat. HAWKWIND's Alan Davey)
02. THE RUTS - "Babylon's Burning" (feat. original RUTS guitarist Paul Fox)
03. THE STRANGLERS - "Tank" (feat. Mirai from SIGH)

The release will only be available from the band's web site and selected distribution channels.

THE MEADS OF ASPHODEL released a mini-CD, entitled "In the Name of God, Welcome to Planet Genocide", last summer via Firestorm Records. Lyrically woven around "the slaughterhouse nature of human cruelty and cancerous existence upon a world rotting in bloodletting and religious oblivion," the CD once again featured Alan Davey (HAWKWIND) on bass and Mirai (SIGH) on keyboards.
