THE KOVENANT Warn Against Buying 'Bootleg' Version Of 'In Times Before the Light'

Norway's THE KOVENANT have posted the following message on their official web site:

"Greetings, this is a important message, regarding a BOOTLEG illegal version of 'In Times Before The Light'! Karmageddon Media [formerly Hammerheart Records] has recently issued a version of 'In Times Before the Light' 2002, that is not legally licenced to the label, nor will it be in the future!

"Please do not buy this version, as the profits will fall straight into the hands of a private company, and has nothing to do with the band, whatsoever.

"Furthermore, we will implement legal steps towards this matter, so do not support this bootleg of the album in any way!

"This is a clear copyright infringement, and will be dealt with [as soon as possible]!

"The album will be available again, when and where we feel it's best, so please know that as of today, there is NO official legal version of 'In Times Before the Light' 2002 OR 1995!"

As previously reported, THE KOVENANT will enter the studio this winter to begin recording the follow-up to last year's "S.E.T.I." (Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence),tentatively due mid-2005 through Nuclear Blast Records.

The forthcoming CD, tentatively titled "The Dreaming Spires", will reportedly be THE KOVENANT's last for Nuclear Blast. One new songtitle has thus far been revealed: "Radiation King". Also planned for release is a DVD containing footage spanning the band's entire career.
