Los Angeles-based technical progressive metal band THE HUMAN ABSTRACT have released the track "Crossing the Rubicon", taken from their upcoming full-length debut, "Nocturne", via their MySpace.com page. Check it out at this location.Due in August through Hopeless Records, "Nocturne" was recorded at a studio in North Carolina with with producer Jamie King (BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME, THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, HE IS LEGEND). Mixing duties were handled by Eric Rachel (THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, ATREYU). THE HUMAN ABSTRACT initially caught the attention of Hopeless Records after recording a two-song demo and hitting the local venues with a relentless do-it-yourself attitude and intense and unbridled live shows.
