THE HAUNTED Frontman Comments On U.S. Tour; Band To Shoot New Video

September 28, 2006

Swedish titans THE HAUNTED will make their triumphant return to the U.S. this November on the Blackest of The Black tour with DANZIG and labelmates LACUNA COIL in support of "The Dead Eye", their highly anticipated new album that hits stores on Oct. 31. This offering sees the band effectively combining elements of their previous efforts while exploring new ideas to continuously challenge themselves, and it is sure to surprise and possibly overwhelm the entire metal community. The group will also shoot a new video for the track "The Flood" this week in Sweden with renowned director Roger Johansson (ARCH ENEMY, IN FLAMES).

Commented Peter Dolving (vocals): "So it's official. We're coming to the U.S. in November for another load of shows. This time around, we are hooking up with Lucifer's younger cousin DANZIG. Yes, we are sharing the stage with the king of howl, the man who invented attitude and the mind who gave us motherfucking Verotika comix! I'm pretty goddamned stoked to say the least. I'm sure I'll enjoy the spectacle of it all. See you all fucking soon."

A special collector’s edition of "The Dead Eye" will also be available, featuring two bonus tracks ("The Highwire" and "The Program"),a bonus DVD with the "Making of The Dead Eye", music videos for "All Against All" and "No Compromise" and two live audio versions of "99" and "Abysmal". The videos and live tracks are all from "rEVOLVEr", the band’s 2004 album.
