THE GATHERING To Issue “Limited Edition” CD In June

Holland's THE GATHERING will release a limited-edition “anniversary” CD in June celebrating the group's 12½ years of existence. The as-yet-untitled effort will be issued through the group's own Psychonaut Records. Commented drummer Hans Rutten: “The band started in autumn 1989. Bart, me and [guitarist] Rene [Rutten] cycled to a crappy rehearsal room a bit outside Oss just to write some CELTIC FROST-inspired music. THE GATHERING was born, things changed, but we are still here and quite proud of what we have reached and still hungry to make albums and see the world, to see you and your country! Thanks all for keeping us alive! You know we appreciate this a lot!”
