Holland's THE GATHERING are currently collaborating with writer Steven Willems on an autobiography that will cover everything from the band's early history through their current activities and will include interviews with all members past and present. According to drummer Hans Rutten, we are doing a lot of research lately, together with Steven, and we really enjoying talking about the past. After all, it was an exciting time around 1992. All the tape-trading (cassettes!), no Internet but normal post, and a quite open-minded scene. Those were the days. There's no deadline. Because we are all extremely busy, it can last a year 'till the book is finished.
