THE GATHERING Announce Mexican, Chilean Tour Dates

Holland's THE GATHERING will be performing in Chile and Mexico in late February.

Confirmed dates are as follows:

Feb. 22 – Monterrey, MEX - Bar Iguana (cap. 800)
Feb. 25 – Santiago, CHL - Teatro Providencia (cap. 1,500)

Commented the band: "We will play two sets, one electric and one semi acoustically, because of the release of our new live album 'Sleepy Buildings'. We are really excited to come back to Mexico, and of course, to come to Chile, home of a lot of die-hard GATHERING fans! See you all there!"

THE GATHERING's "semi-acoustic" live album, "Sleepy Buildings", is due on January 26 through Century Media Records. Recorded at two exclusive gigs held at the LUX movie theatre and venue in Nijmegen, Holland on August 21-22, "Sleepy Buildings" features selections from the group's entire career — from the classic debut "Always" to the commercial breakthough "Mandylion" to the trip-rock of "If_Then_Else".

THE GATHERING will be embarking on a short North American headlining tour beginning in on February 12 in Cleveland. Main support at all shows will come from Portland, Oregon's AGALLOCH.
