THE DUSKFALL Pull Out Of Germany's SUMMER BREEZE Festival

Luleå, Sweden-based metallers THE DUSKFALL have pulled out of their previously announced appearance at this year's Summer Breeze festival, set to take place August 19-21, 2004 in Abtsgmünd, Germany. "The gig at Summer Breeze has been cancelled due to problems beyond our reach," the band write on their web site. "We apologize to the fans that were planning to see us there and hope that we'll meet up sooner or later anyway, maybe at Party-San?"

In other news, THE DUSKFALL have been confirmed for the Jalo Metalli 2004 festival, a two-day event set to take place August 20-21 in Oulu, Finland. Other groups scheduled to appear at the festival include FOR MY PAIN…, DEVILYN, THYRANE, MAPLE CROSS, LAMBS, SETHERY, SACRED CRUCIFIX, PAIN CONFESSOR, DIAMANTHIAN, KALMAH, NEOLITH, FINAL DAWN, FORE and DARK FLOOD.

THE DUSKFALL's sophomore CD, "Source", was released in December through Greece's Black Lotus Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Frailty" was recorded at Dug-Out studios in Uppsala, Sweden and the music on the CD is being described as "darker, faster, more melodical and catchy as hell!"
