THE CRIMSON ARMADA Signs With ARTERY RECORDINGS

January 17, 2011

Westerville, Ohio's THE CRIMSON ARMADA has inked a deal with Artery Recordings, the joint venture between The Artery Foundation and Razor & Tie. The band will hit the studio this spring with producer Brian Hood (A PLEA FOR PURGING, HOPE FOR THE DYING) to record the follow-up to 2009's "Guardians", entitled "Conviction", for a summer release.

"Artery is a strong name in this industry," said vocalist Saud Ahmed. "We are excited to finally have people behind us who believe in what we stand for and are ready to back us and help us become the band we are meant to be. We are happy to call Artery our home."

THE CRIMSON ARMADA is a group of five young metalheads who are about metal as much as they are having a good time and spreading a positive message.

Formed in early 2007, THE CRIMSON ARMADA came together to go beyond just playing metal by paying tribute to various forms of the heavy style, combining their diverse influences and their spiritual messages encrypted within the lyrics — something that fans who choose to look into the deeper meaning of the lyrics will find uplifting all whilst experiencing THE CRIMSON ARMADA's truly heavy style of playing.

THE CRIMSON ARMADA is:

Saud Ahmed - vocals/keyboards
Josh Jardim - guitar
Dan Hatfield - guitar
Chris Yates - bass/Vocals
David Puckett - drums
