THE ACCURSED Part Ways With SCREAMING FERRET WRECKORDS

September 30, 2005

New Bedford, Massachusetts melodic thrash metallers THE ACCURSED have issued the following update:

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, THE ACCURSED have parted ways with Screaming Ferret Wreckords. We would like to thank Tim Koukos and SFW for everything they have done for us, including getting our album ['Seasons of the Scythe'] recorded, helping with the artwork, gigs, and countless other favors, most importantly being a friend to the band. We will miss the good times we had, and wish all the best for SFW. Thanks to you all.

"Due to SFW's greatly appreciated generosity, we have the CD and artwork to do with as we please. We are currently searching for label support to release our debut album. Any suggestions, help and interested parties can contact us at [email protected]."

Formed out of the ashes of metallic hardcore act AGAIN WITHOUT FEELING and black metallers IMPERIAL DARKNESS, THE ACCURSED had previously recorded an eight-song demo, "Straight from Hell", at the Styrofoam Room with BEYOND THE EMBRACE guitarist Oscar Gouveia.
