TEXTURES Announce New Singer

January 27, 2004

Dutch progressive metallers TEXTURES have announced the addition of vocalist Eric Kalsbeek (ex-BRAINSHAKE) to the group's ranks. Kalsbeek replaces Pieter Verpaalen, who left the band earlier this month due to "musical differences."

TEXTURES recently inked a deal with France's Listenable Records. The group's self-produced debut CD, "Polars" — originally released through the group's own label — will be remastered and re-issued via Listenable on February 23. As a special bonus, a video clip will be added to a limited-edition version of the CD. A U.S. release through The End Records will follow later on.

The group, who have previously opened for the likes of SEPULTURA, MACHINE HEAD and THE CROWN, have received extremely enthusiastic reviews in major magazines like Aardshock and Oor, among others.
