TESLA Guitarist's DAVE RUDE BAND To Play CD-Release Show This Weekend

September 16, 2009

TESLA guitarist Dave Rude's solo power trio, DAVE RUDE BAND, will headline a CD-release show this Saturday, September 19 at the Uptown nightclub in Oakland, California. The band is self-releasing its new EP, "Carry Me Home", and it will be sold for the first time at this gig. "Carry Me Home" will then be available for purchase via the DAVE RUDE BANDMySpace profile, where fans can currently listen to the CD's first single, "Fallin' Down". (Note: The EP will also be available at online outlets such as iTunes, Amazon and CDBaby).

Commented Rude: "'Fallin' Down' is a really fast, aggressive rocker that really gives you a good idea of where the band is at now. Our new stuff sounds like SHINEDOWN doing shots with BUCKCHERRY at a KINGS OF LEON after-party. We're really stoked to finally have a CD that represents where we're at musically."

DAVE RUDE BAND will play more West Coast dates throughout the fall before Dave goes back out on the road in the U.S. with TESLA in mid-October.
