TERÄSBETONI: New Tour Dates Announced

Finnish metal group TERÄSBETONI — which represented Finland in this year's Eurovision song contest — has scheduled the following dates in its home country:

Sep. 16 - Ravintola Albatrossi - Kuopio, FIN
Sep. 19 - Club Riviera - Kouvola, FIN
Sep. 26 - Ravintola Lohi - Lohja, FIN
Sep. 27 - Puustelli - Alavus, FIN
Oct. 04 - Viihderavintola Konsta - Kaustinen, FIN
Oct. 10 - Alex Park Hotel - Lahti, FIN
Oct. 24 - Lost In Music Festival - Tampere, FIN
Oct. 31 - Umpitunneli - Tornio, FIN
Nov. 21 - Bar & Night Vaakuna - Mikkeli, FIN
Nov. 22 - Virgin Oil Co. - Helsinki, FIN
Nov. 29 - Osman Tupa - Eura, FIN

"Myrskyntuoja", the third and latest album from TERÄSBETONI, was recently certified gold in the band's home country for sales in excess of 15,000 copies. The gold plaques were presented to TERÄSBETONI at the group's August 7 concert at the On The Rocks club in Helsinki.

"Myrskyntuoja" was produced by Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, APOCALYPTICA, THE 69 EYES),who previously worked with TERÄSBETONI on the group's last LP, the gold-certified (in Finland) "Vaadimme metallia", which came out in 2006.

TERÄSBETONI placed 22nd (out of a total of 25 contestants) in Eurovision's finals, which was held on May 24 in Belgrade, Serbia.
