TAPROOT: 'Mine' Video Posted Online
TAPROOT's video for "Mine", the latest single from their current CD, "Welcome", has been posted online. Check it out: Real Video, Windows Media. The clip was directed by SYSTEM OF A DOWN bassist Shavo Odadjian, who initially contacted TAPROOT about helming the shoot after concocting a concept that suited the song.
"The video is kind of a prequel to their last video, 'Poem'," Odadjian told MTV.com. "In 'Poem' the main guy sees this girl, and he's writing a poem, and the words are written all over the walls as [the band is] playing. This one takes place between four walls, but the walls are endless and there are doors between the rooms. They're playing in each one of the rooms. The concept takes place mostly in this guy's mind, where he walks in on himself. It sort of has the Rod Serling kind of vibe."
