SYSTEMATIC Dropped By ELEKTRA , To Open For METALLICA In Vegas

December 17, 2003

SYSTEMATIC guitarist Adam Ruppel has posted the following message on the band's web site:

"First off, we are no longer a part of the Elektra family. We have enjoyed working with a lot of the people there but at the end of the day, some people just don't know how to break or market a real band. Just see all of Phil Anselmo's quotes and you will get a clue about the situation. So we now are recording new ideas to shop around.

"One of the ideas we decided to post on the site. It's a ballbuster called 'Save Myself From Me' (download MP3 clip here). This song is a little more back to our roots. very aggro, melodic and in your face. So we hope ya like!!!

"In other news, we have been asked again to open for METALLICA!! This time it will be in Las Vegas for New Years. We are very excited and will be happy to get the night started for those guys. I think those guys need to let us jump in a van and do there next tour!!! We will do some photos and video stuff to put up here when we get a chance from the show.

Besides that we are just writing and recording new ideas. We look forward to the future and will see ya all soon!!!!!"
