SYSTEMATIC manager Nick John of Rick Sales Management has confirmed to BLABBERMOUTH.NET that the group have parted ways with bassist Nick St. Denis. No details have yet been divulged regarding St. Denis' departure, but an official press release will be issued shortly that should be more forthcoming about the bassist's future plans. In the meantime, SYSTEMATIC are planning on entering the studio in March with an as-yet-undetermined producer to record their sophomore CD for a September release through Elektra Records. The band are still believed to be working with former SLAYER drummer Paul Bostaph during the pre-production stage for the forthcoming album, although no announcement has yet been made regarding Bostaph's permanent status in the group. As previously reported, unsubstantiated rumors indicate that The Music Company, the record label imprint headed by METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich which released SYSTEMATIC's debut, Somewhere In Between, last year, has ceased to exist, with TMC's former parent company, Elektra Records, picking the band up directy for the remainder of the group's agreement with the now-defunct label. The Music Company was founded in 1998 and at one time boasted a roster that included DDT, GOUDIE, and BRAND NEW IMMORTALS.
