Swedish Rock Band HER BRIGHT SKIES To Release New Album, 'Rivals'

Emerging Swedish modern rock outfit HER BRIGHT SKIES will release its third full-length album, "Rivals", on November 19 via Panic & Action Records. The CD's first single, "Lovekills", can be streamed now at this location and is available for purchase via iTunes.

Based in the small town of Jönköping, Sweden, HER BRIGHT SKIES is a red-hot rock band consisting of Johan Brolin (vocals),Niclas Sjostedt (guitar),Peter Nilsson (guitar/vocals),Jolie Karlsson (bass/vocals) and Jonas Gudmundsson (drums). The group got its start in 2005 and has released two EPs ("Beside Quiet Waters", "DJ Got Us Falling In Love") and two full-length albums ("A Sacrament; III City", "Causing A Scene"); sharing the stage with notable bands like ASKING ALEXANDRIA, BRING ME THE HORIZON, ...AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRAIL OF DEAD, 30 SECONDS TO MARS, PARAMORE and AUGUST BURNS RED, among many others along the way.

For their third studio album, HER BRIGHT SKIES paid a visit to New York City where they teamed up with highly regarded producers Shep Goodman (FOUR YEAR STRONG, BAYSIDE) and Aaron Accetta (FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS, HE IS WE) and over the course of five weeks recorded eleven catchy rock anthems.

Featuring the contagious first single "Lovekills", "Rivals" is a collection of non-stop thrill ride of hard-hitting, melody-driven singles mixed by celebrated producer/mixer/engineer Mike Plotnikoff (THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS, MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, BON JOVI).
