Swedish Death Metallers IN BATTLE Seek Session Guitarist

Sundsvall, Sweden-based death metallers IN BATTLE are looking for a new live/session guitarist who can join them at the end of this summer. For more information, visit the band's official web site.

As previously reported, IN BATTLE will issue their new album, "Welcome To The Battlefield", on August 4 through Cold/Metal Blade Records. The CD was mixed at Mana studio in Florida with producer Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL/ex-MORBID ANGEL) and contain 10 songs (plus one bonus track on the Japanese release). A guest appearance by a "well-known" musician was also recorded on one of the 11 cuts.

IN BATTLE had previously released two albums (1997's "In Battle" and 1998's "The Rage Of The Northmen") through Austria's Napalm Records. A recently recorded four-song promotional demo, "Soul Metamorphosis", has also been made available.

IN BATTLE are booked to play the United Metal Maniacs festival in Friedersdorf, Germany on May 29-30 and the Kaltenbach Open Air festival in Austria on July 16.
