SWALLOW THE SUN To Enter Studio Next Week

January 20, 2005

Finnish melodic death/doom metallers SWALLOW THE SUN will enter Sam's Workshop studios in Lutakko, Finland on January 24 with producer Sami Kokko to begin recording their second album. A single from the CD will be released in the spring, and the full-length album will be released in September. The single, "Forgive Her", will be strictly limited to Finland, and it will contain a cover of the CANDLEMASS classic "Solitude", featuring vocals by REVEREND BIZARRE's Albert Magus. A video for the song "Descending Winters" is also in the works.

The projected track listing for the as-yet-untitled album is as follows:

01. The Giant
02. Psychopath's Lair
03. Descending Winters
04. Ghost of Laura Palmer
05. Fragile
06. Forgive Her
07. Gloom, Beauty and Despair
08. The Ship

SWALLOW THE SUN will tour Finland when the album is released. A fall Scandinavian tour is also likely.
