SULLY ERNA's Albany Concert Moved To Sunday

May 14, 2008

According to TimesUnion.com, the solo acoustic concert by GODSMACK frontman Sully Erna originally slated for Saturday night (May 17) at The Egg in Albany, New York has been postponed to 7 p.m. Sunday (May 18).

All tickets issued for Saturday will be valid on Sunday evening. If you are unable to attend on Sunday, ticket refunds should be made as soon as possible at the place of purchase.

The concert is currently sold out.

Sully Erna previously stated that his solo performances would include "songs from GODSMACK's decade-long repertoire and several new solo pieces in what he described as a 'living room' atmosphere." Erna himself said in the statement, "My goal doing these shows is that fans get to experience me as I see myself. Not filtered through the fame and the hype."

Erna is also said to be working on songs for a solo recording project.

GODSMACK went on hiatus at the end of 2007 after touring in support of its fourth album, 2006's "IV". The band issued a greatest hits collection, called "Good Times Bad Times...Ten Years of Godsmack", this past December.

The other three members of GODSMACK recorded and released an album under the name ANOTHER ANIMAL last fall.
