SUBSIGNAL: New Album Details Revealed

SUBSIGNAL, the new German band featuring former SIEGES EVEN members Arno Menses (vocals) and Markus Steffen (guitar),will release its second album, "Touchstones", on September 30 via ZYX Music. It will be issued in the following formats:

* Compact disc
* Digital download
* Double vinyl

The vinyl version comes with two bonus live tracks, "Where Angels Fear To Tread" and "Paradigm".

According to the group, the 70-minute was produced by guitarist Markus Steffen and vocalist Arno Menses and was recorded in "different studios. Guitars and bass [were] done in Munich, recorded by Kalle Wallner, known for his work with RPWL and BLIND EGO. Drums [were] recorded in Seeheim/Jugenheim by good old Kristian Kohlmannslehner who also co-produced SUBSIGNAL's first album, 'Beautiful & Monstrous'. Vocals [were] recorded somewhere in the north of Germany. Mixing and mastering by Kristian Kohlmannslehner at Kohlekeller Studios."

SUBSIGNAL released its debut album, entitled "Beautiful & Monstrous", on September 25, 2009 via GoldenCore Records/ZYX Music. The CD was helmed by co-producer Kristian Kohlmannslehner, who worked on SIEGES EVEN's 2007 release, "Paramount".

SUBSIGNAL describes its music as "progressive, melancholic, cutting edge, emotional, blended with a good portion of melodic heaviness."
