STYGIA Featuring Former YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, ANNIHILATOR Members: Demo Tracks Available

STYGIA, the band featuring vocalist Mike Vescera (YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, LOUDNESS, OBSESSION),drummer Mike Mangini (STEVE VAI, EXTREME, ANNIHILATOR),keyboardist Vitalij Kuprij (ARTENSION, RING OF FIRE),bassist Chris McCarvill (HOUSE OF LORDS, X FACTOR X, JEFF SCOTT SOTO, OBSESSION) and guitarist Todd Seitz, has posted three demo tracks on its MySpace page. Check out the songs "Rise", "Perfect Dark" and "Phoenix" at this location. Joe Stump (HOLY HELL, REIGN OF TERROR) contributes to a guest guitar duel at the end of "Phoenix".

According to the group's official bio, "STYGIA is a world-class project created by Todd Seitz. The album will be in the spirit of Conan the Barbarian and the stories of Robert E. Howard. Todd's influences will combine to make a dark fantasy like feeling come to life in the form of progressive power metal. Guests on the album will be Richard Andersson (keyboardist for TIME REQUIEM, MAJESTIC, SPACE ODYSSEY, etc.) and Joe Stump."
