STRYPER: Autographed Bible Given Away With Each CD Pre-Order

August 1, 2005

If you pre-orderSTRYPER's first studio album in over a decade, "Reborn", the CD will be shipped to you on August 10 (making it possible that you will get yours before it hits the stores on August 16) along with an autographed STRYPER pocket Bible (the same Bibles the band throw out at concerts, which has never before been offered to the public). Each Bible will be autographed by either Michael Sweet, Robert Sweet, or Oz Fox (The autograph you get will be randomly selected). However, if you order TWO discs you will receive two Bibles autographed by two DIFFERENT band members. Order THREE discs and you'll receive three Bibles autographed by each member, giving you one of each. Be sure to specify whether you want an English or Spanish pocket Bible. In addition, everyone that pre-orders "Reborn" will be registered to win a one-of-a-kind framed "Reborn" plaque (featuring the artwork, CD, and nickel plate engraved with your name) commemorating the release of "Reborn". This plaque will be presented IN PERSON to the winner by the band at a STRYPER concert of your choice. You will meet the band, have your picture taken, and be listed on Stryper.com as the winner of this one-of-a-kind plaque.

As previously reported, STRYPER have uploaded audio samples from "Reborn" at their official web site. Check out the songs "Open Your Eyes", "Reborn", "When Did I See You Cry" and "10,000 Years" at this location.

"Reborn" marks STRYPER's first complete studio release of original material in over a decade, since 1990's "Against the Law", and features 10 original tracks marked by STRYPER's trademark blend of melodic vocals, heavy guitar licks and pounding drums, as well a new version of the previously released track "In God We Trust". The album was recorded in Massachussetts at Blue Jay Studio, Mixed Emotions, and singer Michael Sweet's home studio. Big3 Records will also release a STRYPER DVD, packed with live footage and special features, by the end of the year.

Original STRYPER members Michael Sweet (lead vocals, guitar),Oz Fox (lead guitar),Robert Sweet (drums) recently announced the addition of Tracy Ferrie (bass) to the band.
