STRATOVARIUS: New Live Photos Posted Online

June 11, 2004

STRATOVARIUS keyboardist Jens Johansson has posted a bunch of photos from the group's appearance at Italy's Gods of Metal festival last weekend. Check them out here.

Says Jens: "[There are] not that many pix actually. But they should make it clear to anyone why we had to postpone the gig [to a later time because of the weather]. Electrocution is no fun!!

"Just to make another thing clear, many bands would just have taken the money and left without playing. I am really proud now of everybody that we didn't.

"I'd like to thank Andrea Pieroni (the promoter of Gods of Metal),who we have known a long time by now. He was of great help in arranging to fit us in on Sunday with a decent length set, and he also bore some costs for doing that. I think it was important. I think we really owed it to people to play.

"Sorry if anyone missed the gig. Everyone really did their best."

More brand-new STRATOVARIUS live photos are currently available online: Dauwpop Festival (Holland, May 20),Rock Hard Festival (Germany, May 30).
