STRATOVARIUS Begin Work On 'Elements Part 2'

January 9, 2003

STRATOVARIUS frontman Timo Kotipelto has posted the following update via his official web site:

"I just wanted to info you about my activities at the moment... :)

"I rented a small studio/rehearsing place for my self in Helsinki. I've been renovating the place with a friend of mine (thanks Hepa!) and hopefully at the end of this week I can move my equipment over there. The plan is to use the place for composing, rehearsing vocals and maybe later for giving some singing lessons.

"Next Monday (Jan. 13th) I will start recording the vocals for [STRATOVARIUS'] 'Elements Part [2]' which will be released January 2004.

"Well...of course 'Elements Part 1' will be OFFICIALLY (!!!) released Jan. 27th, 2003!

"Anyways, hopefully the beginning of your new year (where ever you live) was warmer than for me (-25 in celcius in Helsinki...the last 3 weeks!!!).

"Rock! Timo"
