STONE SOUR, MORBID ANGEL, GODHEAD Members To Guest On TEAM CYBERGEIST Album

November 4, 2008

TEAM CYBERGEIST is the solo/side project of Angel (a.k.a. Andrew Bartolotta),best known as the past/present drummer of such bands as DOPE, GENITORTURERS, PIG, CROSSBREED, SWITCHED, THE UNDEAD, and many others. With this project, Angel brings a collective of musicians from all around the world together to create music through the internet. It is also an outlet for all of Angel's remix projects.

Angel is currently at Redline Recording Studio in Venice, Florida putting the finishing touches on his first full-length album, titled "How to Destroy Something Beautiful".

Commented Angel: "'How to Destroy Something Beautiful' is the first full-length release of original material from the TEAM CYBERGEIST project. The content of this album is colored by memories and emotions pained with the process of letting go... Confusion. Bitterness. Hope.

"From the ground up, I have arranged all of these songs by constructing them from bits and pieces of guitar riffs, synth lines, MIDI patterns, and vocal performances composed by different musicians from all around the world. Each contribution was sent to me electronically and then produced in my own studio.

"This has been an exciting collaborative music project that appreciates both lesser-known local musicians and internationally known artists, putting everyone involved on an equal level. Musicians from all different levels and genres uniting for one single purpose.

"In a music scene constrained by ruthless competition and heightened egoism, it is exciting to lead a project that unites a team of humble musicians from a diversity of backgrounds, who willingly composed for the love of music.

"This album is a collaborative effort, meant to break down the hierarchical nature of the music industry. We all hope that you enjoy our collective expressions in the form of these songs."
