When asked about the tour, STONE SOUR's inimitable frontman Corey Taylor was in effusive form, exclaiming, "Oh god! Great shows, awesome fans, killer energy, delicious curries, who needs that?! Wait, what were we talking about?" He continued, "Just when I thought it couldn't get any crazier, here we come back for more! We cannot fucking wait!"

STONE SOUR's second album, "Come What(ever) May", has been certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) for shipments in excess of 500,000 copies.

The album, which debuted at No. 4 on the Top 200 with over 80,000 units sold in its first week, has been on the Hard Rock Album Chart's Top 10 since release 18 weeks ago, and features the hit singles "Through Glass", "Sillyworld" and "30/30-150". The latter has also been nominated for a Grammy in the "Best Metal Performance" category, where the band will face stiff competition from SLAYER, LAMB OF GOD, MASTODON and MINISTRY.

"Come What(ever) May", has been certified gold in Canada for sales in excess of 50,000 copies.

STONE SOUR will tour Canada as openers for EVANESCENCE in January.
