STEVEN ADLER 'Rock Drumming' Instructional DVD Now Available

September 15, 2009

According to the ADLER'S APPETITE's page at the Artist's Representation and Managementweb site, former GUNS N' ROSES and current ADLER'S APPETITE drummer Steven Adler is finalizing a major publishing deal for his "tell-all biography". In addition, 2010 will see Adler returning to "Celebrity Rehab 3" as a special guest.

Adler has just released his first instructional drum DVD, "Steven Adler's Getting Started With Rock Drumming". Watch and listen as Adler demonstrates techniques, grooves and fills designed for the beginning rock drummer. He teaches: parts of the drums; the pyramid of rhythms; basic rock beats; rock fills; dynamics and more, discussing his own influences and history with the drums.

In a recent interview, ADLER'S APPETITE/ex-QUIET RIOT guitarist Alex Grossi stated about Adler's DVD, "It's geared towards beginners. The DVD features myself, Chip Z'Nuff and Michael Thomas jamming with Steven, as well as Steven teaching the basics of rock drumming."

"Steven Adler's Getting Started With Rock Drumming" DVD can be ordered at this location.

Steven recently recorded a guest appearance on former GUNS N' ROSES and current VELVET REVOLER guitarist Slash's solo record. The track, which marks their professional reunion, also features Flea from the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS.

Adler has publicly expressed his hopes for a reunion of the original GUNS lineup, while Slash and bassist Duff McKagan have been more reserved about the prospect and Rose has stated that it will never happen.
